Mrs. Emma A. Knowblock, 68, of 302 Morningside Drive, died at 4:30 a.m. today in her home.

 

She was born Dec. 17, 1908, near Nappanee and was lifetime resident of the area.

 

On Feb. 16, 1935, she married Hillis Knoblock.

 

He survives with a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Blitz, Mishawaka; one granddaughter, three sisters, Mamie Huhn, Fort Wayne, Mrs. Harold (Lillian) Dougherty, Colorado Springs, and Mrs. Mary Stillson, Nappanee.

 

One sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

 

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Wright-Yoder Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday. The Rev. David R. Eastes, Nappanee St. John’s Lutheran Church, of which she was a member, will officiate.

 

Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery.

 

Memorials may be given to the church.

 

Editor: Her maiden name was Emma Huhn. Her husband Hillis S. Knoblock died Sept. 10, 1983. The proper spelling of her daughter in Mishawaka is Mrs. Shirley Biltz, who died Nov. 23, 1983 in South Bend.
