Paul Knoblock

Mishawaka – Paul Knoblock, aged 60, died this morning at 4 o’clock in his home, 601 East Fourth Street. He had been in failing health for six months.

 

Mr. Knoblock was employed as a painter in Mishawaka for 45 years. He came here from Germany.

 

Born Dec. 12, 1875 in Durgendorf, Germany, he was married to Miss Mary Weinkauf, who survives. Surviving also are three daughters, Mrs. Arna Sabade, Mrs. Lena Hedman and Mrs. Margaret Lowman of Mishawaka; four sons, Adolph, Rudolph, Adam and Paul, jr., all at home; two sisters and one brother in Germany; and seven grandchildren. One son, Benedict died Dec. 21, 1934.

 

The body may be viewed in the Trulley chapel until Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Then it will be taken to the residence where it may be viewed until the hour of the funeral at 9 o’clock Monday morning. Rev. George Lauer, pastor, will sing a solemn requiem mass in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.

 

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

 

Mr. Knoblock was a member of St. Joseph Church, St. Joseph Society and the St. Joseph Holy Name Society.
