Carl Sheridan Koch

Carl Sheridan Koch, 83, of the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Douglas Road and Royal Oak, Mich., died on Tuesday, Jan. 25, in the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was a bartender at Carl's Chop House in Detroit, Mich. He was born on Jan. 1, 1917, in Detroit, to Carlisle and Ruth (Wattersworth) Koch, who preceded him in death.He is survived by four cousins, Pat Paszkiet, Peggy Peck and Katharine Moulder, all of South Bend, and Lawrence F. Kedzie of California.

 

Carl was a World War II Navy veteran, and was a former State Handball Champion in the 1950s in Michigan.

 

Private family services will be held on Friday, Jan. 28, in the HICKEY Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
