Sister Mary Christina CSC, 62, died Friday night in Saint Mary’s Convent, following a long illness. She was born in Schweinheim, Germany in 1901 and was educated there. She came to this country in 1923 to enter the Order of the Sisters of the Holy Cross. She received the habit in 1924, and made her final profession of vows in 1929. During her community life, she was missioned at Holy Cross Convent at Notre Dame, from the time of her novitiate until her transfer to St. Mary’s in 1956.

 

The requiem high mass will be offered at 6 a.m. Monday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto on the St. Mary’s campus, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, also on the campus. Friends may call in the convent parlor.
