Josephine M. Koltz

April 7, 1920 – December 2, 1985

Josephine M. Koltz, 65, of Harbert, formerly of South Bed, died at noon Monday in Memorial Hospital, St Joseph. 

Mrs. Koltz was born April 7, 1920, in Bar Harbor, Maine, and lived in South Bend 16 years until moving to Harbert four years ago.  On September 18, 1943, as Josephine Kane, she married Avon R. Koltz, who survives.  Also surviving are three daughters, Mary Walker of Lexington KY, Therese Marshall of Louisville KY, Roberta Koltz of Chicago; a son, Michael of Chattaroy WA; six grandchildren; four sisters, Marjorie Long and Florence Palmer, both of Rome NY, Rose Wentworth of Southwest Harbor ME and Mary Kyle of California; and a brother, Arthur Kane of Wilton ME.

Services will be at 11am Thursday in Holy Cross Catholic Church.  Cremation will take place at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call form 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home where a parish wake will be at 7:30pm Wednesday.
