Grace Konopinski

March 1, 1902 - February 23, 1990

Services for Grace Konopinski, 87, of 247 N. Burbank Ave., who died at 8:25pm Friday in St Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 11am Wednesday in Holy Family Catholic Church.  Burial will be at Highland cemetery. 

Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Tuesday in St Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30pm.

Born March 1, 1902, in Hungary, she had lived here most of her life.  As Grace Gottman, she married Theodore Konopinski, who died in 1960.  Surviving are a daughter, Jean Switalski of South Bend; two sons, Ronald Porogi of South Bend and John Porogi of Florida; seven grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
