Mrs. Julia B. Kotal, 63, of 1419 W. Indiana Ave., died at 12:40 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital, after a six month illness.

She was an employee of the Cardinal Nursing Home.

Mrs. Kotal was born on Sept. 20, 1908 in Hungary, and came here on Oct. 1, 1913.

As Julia Karsas, on May 24, 1928 in South Bend, she was married to John Kotal, who died on Nov. 2, 1965.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs Anton A. Sakara of South Bend; three grandchildren; two brothers, Alex and Joseph Karsas, both of South Bend, and a sister Mrs. Joseph Igaz of Bolivar, Tenn.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in Nemeth Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Rev. Thomas Doriot, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
