Jan. 15, 1933 - April 29, 2010MISHAWAKA - Charles G. Kovach, 77, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, in his home. He was born on January 15, 1933, in South Bend, IN, to Charles and Matilda (Kranitz) Kovach. On June 13, 1953, in St. Jude Catholic Church, South Bend, he married Esther (Bachtel) Kovach, who preceded him in death on October 14, 2000. Mr. Kovach is survived by two sons, Edward (Sandra) Kovach of South Bend, IN, and Christopher Kovach of Mishawaka, IN; and two grandchildren, Jeffrey Kovach and Lori (Jason) Crowley. Mr. Kovach worked 23 years for Bendix/Allied Signal, South Bend, in shipping. He was a lifelong area resident. He was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010, in St. Bavo Catholic Church, 511 W. 7th Street, Mishawaka, IN. Rev. Barry C. England will officiate. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2010, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S.
