WALKERTON - Kathryn Kramer, 92, of Caring Junction, South Bend, formerly of Walkerton, died at 7:20 a.m. today in the care facility. Mrs. Kramer was a former licensed real estate broker in Walkerton. She was born Jan. 20, 1904, in St. Louis.
On Nov. 8, 1922, in Chicago, as Kathryn Bush, she married Frank C. Kramer. He died April 1, 1995. She is survived by a daughter, Kay Kramer of South Bend; a son, F. Richard of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dolores Marshall of Orange, Texas. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and past president of St. Patrick's Women's Club and Walkerton Community Club, a member of American Legion Auxiliary, and a founder of Puppeteers of America which toured the Michiana area for many years.
Memorial services will be at a later date. Cremation will take place, with burial in Grovertown Cemetery. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
