Margaret R. Krienke

Margaret R. Krienke, 86, of South Bend, Ind., passed away at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2005 in Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center, where she had been a resident for six years. She was born on Feb. 25, 1919, in South Bend, to Herman and Louise (Tavernier) Krienke who preceded her in death along with three brothers, Elden, Henry and Karl Krienke. Margaret is survived by four nephews; Paul Krienke of Spring Valley, Calif., Loren Krienke of San Diego, California, Merwyn Krienke of Phoenix, Ariz. and Arvid Krienke of Elkhart, Ind. Margaret was a sweet and caring person and was loved by all who knew her. She went out of her way to help everyone. She will be missed by all and will never be forgotten. Margaret was a long-time member of Zion United Church of Christ in South Bend. In 1937 she graduated from South Bend Central High School and had lived in South Bend all of her life. She retired from the Bendix Corporation. Margaret was a member of Helena Rebekah Lodge #72 and the Mothers of World War II, Unit 128.

 

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of Service at 1 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2005, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. South Bend. Rev. David Sickelka, Pastor of Zion United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Zion United Church of Christ, 715 E.
