SOUTH BEND - Rita Lorraine Kroll entered into rest March
24, 2008 in San Antonio at the age of 89. She was born August 1,
1918 in Murphysboro, IL to the late Fred Hall and Minnie (Williams)
Hall. She was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing with the Over 50
Golfer's Association, Brackenridge Women's Golf Association;
SAWGA; and the Erskine Golf Association. She also enjoyed playing
cards, games, traveling, and visiting places around the world.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alex J. Nemeth,
Dean E. DeLeury, Walter C. Kroll and brother, Fred J.
Hall. Survivors include her daughters, Carol Tinkel & husband
Terrence of Bostic, NC, Christine Radie & husband Ken of
Hudson, OH; grandchildren, Michael Tinkel, Jeffrey Tinkel
& wife Jennifer, Patrick Tinkel, Brian Tinkel & wife
Cindy, William and Matthew Ellis; great granddaughter
Independence; sister-in-law Maebelle Hall; brother Wendall Hall
& wife Betty; sister RosaLee Fish; several nieces and
nephews; and a sister if not through blood, through a life of
love and sharing, Vi Pritzel.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Monday, March 31, 2008 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN, 46615 where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services. Pastor Jamie Miller of Sunnyside Presbyterian Church will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. Flowers are welcomed, however memorial donations can be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 4102 Eisenhauer Road, San Antonio, TX, 78218.
