Clem C. Kucharski

Clem C. Kucharski, 65, of 1713 N. Brookfield St., died at 2am in his home of an apparent heart attack.  He had been a Studebaker Corp. employee for 35 years and retired April 1 as a precision inspector from the Hoosier Spring Co.

 

Born April 1, 1909, in South Bend, he had lived here all his life.  On June 26, 1929, he married Josephine Barczykowski, who survives.  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Elayne Bajdek of South Bend; three grandchildren; two brothers, Al of South Bend and Leo of Hazel Park MI; and two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Majewski of Cassopolis MI, and Mrs Mary White of Hazel Park.

 

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and 10am to 9pm Friday in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.  Services will be at 9:30am Saturday in the Holy Cross Catholic Church.  Rev. William J. Neidhart, CSC, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  A rosary will be recited at 7:30pm today and a wake service is set for 7:30pm Friday in the funeral home.  Mr. Kucharski was a member of the Miraculous Medal Assn.
