SOUTH BEND - Helen Kuchowicz, 70, of South Carlisle Street, died at 6:12 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center of natural causes. Miss Kuchowicz was born Nov. 16, 1924, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by a sister, Bernice Sopczynski of South Bend. She was a member of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
