Stella B. Kulesia

March 3, 1919 - Oct. 14, 2000

Stella B. Kulesia, 81, of Harrison Road, South Bend, died at 10:20 a.m. Saturday in the Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Kulesia was born March 3, 1919, in Anderson, Ind., and she lived in this area most of her life. She was an employee of the former Wilson Bros. and she retired from the Koszegi Leather Co.

She was married on November 25, 1937, as Stella B. Grochowski, to Sylvester Kulesia who survives. She is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerome and Carol Kulesia, of New Albany, Miss.; four grandchildren, Suzanne Kulesia of San Francisco, Calif., Barbara Baker of New Orleans, La., Mary L. Jackson of Utah, and David Kulesia of Arkansas; two sisters, Jennie Orlicki and Dorothy Janiak, both of South Bend; and by five brothers, Joseph and Chester Grochowski, both of South Bend, Stanley and Sylvester Grochowski, both of Cassopolis, Mich., and John Grochowski of Edwardsburg, Mich.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a parish rosary will by prayed at 4 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
