SOUTH BEND - Services for Katherine Kuzmich, 91, of Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal, who died at 3:05 a.m. Wednesday in the nursing home, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a combined rosary will be said at 4 p.m. by the Altar and Rosary Society of the church and St. Anthony Society Ladies Auxiliary, and a wake will be at 8 p.m. Friends may also call one hour before services on Saturday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church renovation fund.

Mrs. Kuzmich was co-owner of the former Hubert's Grocery Store. She was born April 6, 1903, in Kr. Minihof Burgenland, Austria, and lived in South Bend since 1922.

On Sept. 17, 1932, in South Bend, as Katherine Vukovich, she married Hubert Kuzmich. He died March 23, 1974. She is survived by two daughters, Katherine Kagel of South Bend and Nancy Hillenbrand of Batesville, Ind.; two sons, Rev. John M. of Fort Wayne and Hubert J. of South Bend; and 10 grandchildren. She was a member of St. Anthony Society Ladies Auxiliary and the church Altar and Rosary Society.
