SOUTH BEND - Services for Florence R. Lanton, 92, of Carrier Mills, Ill., who died at 2:30 a.m. Friday in her home, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Thornton-Felty Funeral Home, Carrier Mills. Burial will be in Lakevue Cemetery, Carrier Mills. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Lanton was born Aug. 18, 1902, in Carrier Mills. On Aug. 5, 1922, in Carrier Mills, she married George L. Lanton. He died July

17, 1986. Surviving are six daughters, Velma Sumner, Nola Bell and Nedra Redding, all of South Bend, Peggy Beard of Cleveland, Boneva Morgan of Roswell, Ga., and Carolyn Drue of Carrier Mills; a

grandson, Ronald Williams of Harrisburg, Ill., whom she raised; 16 other grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Two daughters, Willa Williams and Joyce

Green, an infant son, a grandson and a great-grandchild preceded her in death. She was a lifelong member of The Church of God, Carrier Mills.
