Johnny Ray Layne

SOUTH BEND - Johnny Ray Layne, 20, of
Bulla Road, died of natural causes at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday in his
home. Mr. Layne was a short-order cook at Meijer Department
Store, Mishawaka. He was born March 20, 1975, in South Bend.
Surviving are his fiance, Carrie Overmeyer of South Bend;
his parents, Toni and Raymond Layne of South Bend; and three
sisters, Peggy Singleton of Mishawaka and Janet Markin
and Patty Somers, both of South Bend. He was a member of
Timberland Bible Church and a 1994 graduate of John Adams High
School.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Bubb
Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main St., Mishawaka. Burial will
be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call
from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and two hours before services Friday in
the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice
of St. Joseph County Inc.
