Jean E. LeJeune, 64, of 828 E. Irvington Ave., died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Donna Nursing Home, in Owen County, Ind.  He was secretary and production manager of the South Bend Air Products Co.  Born Oct. 14, 1904, in Grand Haven, Mich., he married Florence Peltz, who survives.  Other survivors are a son, Jean A., and a daughter Mrs. Cheryl Holt, both of Bloomington, Ind., three grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Kuiper, of Spring Lake, Mich., and Mrs. Ruth Carlisle, of Plainwell, Mich.  Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home.  Mr. LeJeune was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Portage Lodge 675, F&AM, of which he was a Past Member, and the Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend.

Funeral services for Jean E. LeJeune, 64, of 828 E. Irvington Ave., who died Tuesday in Owen County, Ind., will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home.  James Smith of the Donmoyer Ave. Church of Christ will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.  A Masonic memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home by Portgage Lodge 675, F&AM, of which Mr. LeJeune was a Past Member.

 

Note:  Jean Edward LeJeune is a descendant of General LeJeune, of Fort LeJeune fame.
