Cheshire Eva Mae Leuthold

MISHAWAKA - Cheshire Eva Mae Leuthold, 94, of Mishawaka, IN and of Old Towne Rd. passed away June 15, 2008 at Highlands Health Care Center. For 68 years, she was the wife of Kenneth K. Leuthold, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Leuthold was born February 17, 1914 in Allegan County Michigan, the daughter of the late Seldon and Beatrice (Burkhart) Richardson. She was a member of the St. Andrews United Church of Christ in Mishawaka, IN and had volunteered for over 25 years at St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka, IN. Mrs. Leuthold was a devoted and loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her hobbies included knitting, fishing, reading and crossword puzzles. She spent her later years traveling with her husband around the United States. Mrs. Leuthold is survived by her son Peter R. Leuthold and his wife Elaine of Mishawaka, IN; her daughter Susan Casavina of Cheshire; her six grandchildren Sarah Pisani and her husband Todd, Candice Leuthold and her partner Michael Woods, Amy Casavina Hall and her husband Brett, Jason Leuthold, Kelly Lanko and her husband John, Katie Dobbins and her husband Adam; and eight great grandchildren - Megan, Nathan, Cameron, Matthew, John-John, Luke, Leah and Isaac. She is predeceased by her sister Helen Van DenAvyle.

Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cheshire Relay for Life c/o the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire is in charge of arrangements.
