 Mary Lewandowski

June 16, 1899 – November 6, 1984

Mary Lewandowski, 85, of 1010 Johnson Street, died at 3am today in Regency Place.

 She was born June 16, 1899, in South Bend, and lived here all her life. On June 12, 1922, in South Bend, as Mary Szkielka, she married Frank L. Lewandowski. He survives with two daughters, Rita Jun and Lucinda Whitfield, both of South Bend; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Paprocki of South Bend and a brother, Richard Gleason of South Bend.

 Services will be at noon Wednesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church and burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

 Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Tuesday in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Child Society.

 She was a member of the church, the Holy Cross Altar & Rosary Society, and the Apostleship of Prayer at St Stanislaus Catholic Church.
