Lucille F. Lindahl

Lucille F. Lindahl, 79, of 213 Indiana Ave., died about 9 p.m. Tuesday in Atlanta, Ga. After an illness.

 

Mrs. Lindahl was born June 25, 1905, in St. Louis, and lived in this city since 1925.

She was a former cashier in the City Treasurer’s Office.

 

On Jan. 10, 1926, as Lucille Gleissner, she married Allison Lindahl in Mishawaka. He died June 15, 1975.

 

Survivors include two sons, Allison Jr. of Decatur, Ind. and Frederick of Atlanta; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Elizabeth Nix of Mishawaka; three brothers, John T. Gleissner of Mishawaka, who is Penn Twp. Trustee, Thomas of Decatur, Mich, and Eugene of Kansas City, Mo.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

 

Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home where a wake service will be at 7 p.m.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.

 

Mrs. Lindahl was a member of St. Joseph Parish, the Daughters of Isabella and the Mishawaka-Penn Twp. Women’s Democratic Club.
