Aug. 7, 1907 - May 14, 1993 SOUTH BEND - Katherine Lipowski, 85, of Portage Avenue, died at 5:30 a.m. today in her home after an illness. Mrs. Lipowski was born Aug. 7, 1907, in Vulcan, Mich., and lived in South Bend most of her life. On Aug. 9, 1924, in South Bend, as Katherine Setlock, she married Stanley Lipowski. He survives with a son, Stanley F. of South Bend; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, and three sisters, Adeline Nowicki of South Bend, Alice Gillen of Granger and Caroline Hauch of Sodus. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
