NEW CARLISLE – Andrew S. Lisek, 84, of New Carlisle, passed away on February 25, 2008, in the Hamilton Grove Retirement Community.

Mr. Lisek was born on May 13, 1923, in Terre Coupee, to Stanley and Mary (Kowaleski) Lisek.  On June 3, 1957, he married the former Ruby Heltzel, who died on January 10, 2003.  Andrew was also preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Niespodzany, and a brother, Edward Lisek.  Surviving are several nieces and nephews.  Andrew retired from Wells Aluminum and was a member of the Crumstown Conservation Club.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4pm, Thursday, February 28, 2008, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue, South Bend.  Services will be conducted at 4pm following the visitation.  Burial will take place at Crumstown Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
