Clell Livengood

Nov. 2, 1914 - Nov. 19, 1999

Clell Livengood, 85 years old, residing in St. Joseph Care Center West in South Bend, formerly of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 10:05 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 1999, in the care center. Mr. Livengood worked for the School City in Mishawaka for 19 years and prior to that, he was employed at the Studebaker Corporation. He was also a United States Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Livengood was born on November 2, 1914, in South Bend, to the late Ray and Bertha (Kelley) Livengood. He had lived most of his life in Mishawaka. On December 17, 1941, in South Bend, he married Ruth Frances Goddard, who preceded him in death on January 12, 1985. Two brothers, Ralph and Robert Livengood also preceded him in death.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Robert Felix of Mishawaka; one son, William Livengood of Mishawaka; five grandchildren, Thomas, Ronald, Sherri, Andrew and Joseph Felix; two great grandchildren, William and Abigail; five sisters, Mary Aliff of Indianapolis, Gloria VanSkyhawk of Mishawaka, Irma Headlee, Ruth Hertel and Martha Albright, all of South Bend; and one brother, James Livengood of South Bend.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 1999, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Entombment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in South Bend. Friends visited with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the Palmer Funeral Home.
