SOUTH BEND - Services and burial for Alice Johnson Lockard, 88, of 1823 S. St. Joseph St., who died of natural causes at 6:35 a.m. Sunday in her home, will be Saturday in Ripley, Tenn. Alford's Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Lockard retired from Fisher Funeral Home, Ripley, as a secretary. She was born Dec. 18, 1907, in Hells Point, Tenn. On May 4, 1964, in Ripley, she married Albert Lockard. He died Nov. 30, 1984. She is survived by four daughters, Eddie Jacobs of South Bend, Lucille King and Bessie Bursey, both of Detroit, and Henrietta Bausal of Ripley; a stepdaughter, Lydia Morgan of Anchorage, Alaska; four stepsons, Hosea, Emmitt, Albert Jr. and Limeaul, all of Memphis, Tenn.; 88 grandchildren; 116 great-grandchildren; and 130 great-great-grandchildren.
