Paul G. Lockey, 75,of 517 S Ironwood died at 7:40am today at St Joseph’s Hospital after an extended illness.  He was a former musician in the South Bend area.

 

He was born on February 3, 1903, in Lake Twp MI and he lived most of his live in the South Bend area.  Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Marjorie VanderWerven of South Bend and a brother, John L. of Zephyrhills FL.

 

Services will be at 1pm Saturday in the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka, with Rev. Robert Seitz, pastor of the Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday at the funeral home.  Lockey was a WW II Army veteran and a member of the Cowboys Club of South Bend; the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge No .58; the Fraternal Order of the Eagles; Aerie No. 435 and an associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police, No. 36.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
