Henry N. Lombardi

GRANGER - Henry N. Lombardi, 73, of Chestnut Road, died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mr. Lombardi retired in 1982 as a self-employed tool and die maker. He was born July 16, 1922, in Chicago, and lived in Granger for 42 years, coming from Grovertown.

 

On Aug. 6, 1949, in South Bend, he married Martha C. Wawrzyniak. She survives with a daughter, Teri T. Sites of Bristol, Ind.; three sons, Mark ''Andy'' Lombardi of Mishawaka, Patrick W. Banach of Schertz, Texas, and Henry N. Lombardi of Layton, Utah; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a brother, Charles of Wilmington, Ill. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360, Mishawaka, and was an Army veteran of World War II.

 

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church building fund.
