Ralph H. Long

MISHAWAKA - Services for Ralph H. Long, 80, of East Fourth Street, who died at 9:22 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

 

Mr. Long retired in 1980 from Wheelabrator-Frye Corp. He was born June 30, 1913, in Kokomo and lived in Mishawaka since 1957, coming from Kokomo. On Sept. 18, 1942, in Brownwood, Texas, he married Martha J. Hance. She died in 1971. He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth A. Isacco of Columbia, Md.; a son, Philip M. of South Bend; six grandchildren; and a brother, G. Richard of Kokomo.

 

He was a veteran of World War II and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360, United Auto Workers Local 995, Howard Masonic Lodge 93, Kokomo, Wheelabrator Retirement Club, Northern Indiana Railway Society, and East United Methodist Church.
