SOUTH BEND - Francisco J. "Kico" Lopez Jr., 29,
passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2008, in Memorial Hospital.
Francisco was born on February 25, 1979, in South Bend, to
Francisco and Anna (Ramirez) Lopez. On June 21, 2003, he
married Elaine (Myers) in Mishawaka. He is survived by his
wife, Elaine of South Bend; parents, Francisco P. and Anna Lopez;
a son, Amillo Lopez of Walkerton; three stepdaughters, Cierra Barber,
Brandi Hardesty and Ashlyn Hardesty of South Bend; a
sister, Trina (Antonio) Cruz of South Bend; his brother,
Savino Lopez of South Bend; and by his niece and nephews, Juan,
Adrian, Gisselle and Roman Cruz. Kico was a dedicated father,
husband, son, brother and uncle and will be missed by all. He
worked for A.M. General for three years and was employed by Scott
Brass for seven years prior.
Visitation was on Monday, July 14th, from 2 to 8 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary was prayed at 3:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today, July 15th, in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
