Vincent M. Lorence

April 2, 1919September 29, 1979

 

Vincent M. Lorence, 60, of 412 E. Indiana, was found dead in his home about 4am today after a lengthy illness.  Lorence was an A. M. General Corp employee.

 

Born on April 1, 1919, in South Bend, he lived here his lifetime.  On January 24, 1948, he married Lucille Jerzakowski in South Bend.  She survives with four sisters, Josephine Lorence, Irene Lorence, Mrs. Marie Jagodzinski and Mrs. Lucille Wroblewski and two brothers, Harry and Stanley, all of South Bend.

 

Services will be at 11am Tuesday in St Matthew Cathedral.  Most Rev. Joseph R. Crowley, auxiliary bishop, will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Sunday and 2 to 9pm Monday in the St Joseph Funeral Home.  Lorence was a member of the PNA Lodge 83; the St Joseph’s Young Men’s Society; Pulaski Post 357, American Legion and ST Adalbert’s Ushers Club. He was a WW II veteran.
