Robert K. Louis

May 25, 1936 - July 6, 2000

Mr. Robert K. Louis, 64, dear husband and brother who resided on South 35th Street, South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 8:45 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2000, in his residence after an ex-tended illness.

On May 25, 1936, in South Kona, Hawaii, Robert was born to the union of the late John M. and Ethe (Lono) Louis. In Grand Rapids, Michigan, he married Matthea Ruhulessin. After moving to South Bend he was employed in the service department of Gurley-Leep, where he retired. He also was a member of Miami Trails Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where he served as an elder.

Surviving along with his wife, Matthea, are two sisters, Flora Garber of Nappanee, Indiana, and Pauline Kaiharla of Wainai, Hawaii.

Two brothers, John L. Moroct and John M. Louis, both preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 15, at the Miami Trails Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 18950 Roosevelt Road, South Bend. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary.
