Raymond G. Lubawy, 27, of 3462 Balsam N.E., Grand Rapids MI, formerly of South Bend, died at 12:55pm Sunday in St Mary’s Hospital, Grand Rapids, after a length illness.  He was an accountant at the Tyler Refrigeration Co, Grand Rapids, for two years.

He was born March 26, 1942, in South Bend.  On July 24, 1964, he married Ann Marie Nye, who survives.  Also surviving are his parents, Mr & Mrs Raymond S. Lubawy, of South Bend; a son, Raymond Anthony and a daughter, Lori Ann.

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and from 2 to 9pm Tuesday in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, 3402 Lincoln Way West.  Services will be held at 10am Wednesday in St Adalbert’s Catholic Church, Rev. John J. Moskal, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  The parish rosary will be recited at 7:30pm today in the funeral home.
