SOUTH BEND - Joseph Paul Lula, 44, of Cleveland, TX, passed away Jan. 5, 2010, in Temple, TX, after a sudden illness. He was born in South Bend, Oct. 28, 1965, to Bert J. and Kathleen Lula. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother; his wife, Serena; and sons, Dylan Lula and Dustin Donn of Cleveland, TX; sisters, Peggy Burner of White Pigeon, Patty Freehling, Nancy Lambert and Barbara (Charles) Zavor of South Bend. There will be a memorial meeting for family and friends on Jan. 30, 2010, in New Life Community Church at 1 p.m., 17106 Cleveland Road, South Bend.
