Carlo A. Macri

Carlo A. Macri, 74, 2350 Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend, died Monday in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Indianapolis, after a brief illness. He was born in Siderna, Italy, on Dec. 22, 1883, and lived in South Bend 38 years moving to Indianapolis about six years ago.

 

Mr. Marci married Marie Salteri in Italy in 1908. Surviving are his widow, four sons, Paul of Mishawaka, Vincent of South Bend, Joseph and John, both of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Agostino of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ida DeBlase of LaPaz, Ind.; and a brother, Dominic of South Bend, and 20 grandchildren.

 

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today in the Walsh-Bilancio Cpolonial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, with Rev. Arnold Wibbert, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
