Maria C. Macri, 90, beloved wife, mother and grandmother of William Street passed away at 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 4, in her residence. Mrs. Macri was born on Aug. 14, 1909, in Siderno Marina, Italy.

On Jan. 8, 1931, in Siderno Marina, as Maria Nicolleti, she married Francesco Macri, who survives.

She is also survived by three daughters, Concetta Maugeri, Maria Lizzi and Rosa Macri, all of South Bend; six sons, Edward Macri of Australia, Dominic Macri, Nick Macri, Sam Macri, Tony Macri and Cosimo Macri, all of South Bend; and by 25 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six sons; a daughter; five brothers; and by a sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, June 6, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue, where a Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
