Cecil Dewey Madden
   SOUTH BEND - There will be private services for Cecil Dewey  Madden, 86,
of 3614 Whitcomb, who died at 4:14 p.m. Friday in his home. Burial  will be in
Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.  Monday in  Guisinger
Colonial Chapel.
   Mr. Madden retired from Studebaker Corp. after 40 years of  service. He
was born March 1903, in Danville, Ill. He lived in the area for 66  years,
coming from LaPaz. On June 9, 1923, In Elkhart, he married Louise  Williams. She
survives with five daughters, Marjorie Holland and Shirley Bishop,  both of
South Bend Lucille Bird of Angola, Ind. Joyce Stout of Atlanta and  Sharon
Dellinger of Mishawaka; two sons, William of Fort Wayne and Donald of San  Rafeal,
Calif.; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. A son, Robert,  proceeded
him in death.
