Anna Mae Maggert

Mishawaka - Mrs. John S. Maggert Sr., 54, of 222 E. Battell, died at 10:55 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend, following a long illness.

 

She was born in South Bend on Nov. 19, 1920, and had lived in Mishawaka and South Bend her entire life.

 

As Anna Mae Weinkauf she married John S. Maggert Sr. in Mishawaka on May 27, 1941. He survives.

 

Also surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Ralph Taylor, Mrs. Charles Flowers, Mrs. Mary Millow and Mrs. Bruce Raymond of Mishawaka, Mrs. Albert Benson of Edwardsburg and Mrs. Robert Hatten of Warsaw; a son John S. Maggert Jr.; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. William Melois of Tucson, Ariz., and two brothers, August Weinkauf of Kalmazoo and Dumont Weinkauf of Mishawaka.

 

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Bubb Fduneral Chapel, where arrangements are being made.

Mrs. John S. Maggert Sr., 54, of 222 E. Battell, died Monday in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. Rev. William Gieranowski, pastor of St. Monica’s Catholic Church, will officiate and burial will be in Bremen Cemetery.

 

Friends may call in the funeral home from 7 top 9 p.m. today.
