SOUTH BEND - Marion E. Maier, 88, of
Riverside Drive, died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday in Healthwin Hospital
and Nursing Home. Mrs. Maier was born June 1, 1907, in Manistee,
Mich.
On April 15, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, as
Marion E. Walsh, she married Michael P. Maier Sr. He
survives with a daughter, Marilynn D. ''Lynn'' Williams of
South Bend; a son, Michael P. Jr. of Spring, Texas; and seven
grandchildren. She was a member of Rosary and Altar Society of
Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
