SOUTH BEND - Virginia M. Majewski,
80, of Houston, Texas, formerly of South Bend, Ind., passed away
at 8:50 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, in the Willowbrook
Healthcare Center in Houston.
Mrs. Majewski was born on Feb. 7, 1917, in
South Bend, and had lived in Granger, Ind., until 1992, when she
moved to Texas.
On Feb. 9, 1938, in South Bend, as Virginia Drada,
she married Frank Majewski, who preceded her in death on June 16,
1992. Mrs. Majewski is survived by her daughter, Sandra
McCullough of Milwaukee, Wisc.; her son, James Majewski of
Houston, Texas; three grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and by
her sister, Adeline Eby of Arizona.
Mrs. Majewski was a founding member of St. Pius X Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday in St. Pius X Church. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to services in the church. Kaniewski Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
