Mrs. Joseph Malak

March 16, 1904 - October 21, 1972

Mrs. Barbara (Szkielka) Malak, 68, of Calumet City IL, formerly of South Bend, died at 3:25pm Saturday in her home.  She had been ill for nine months.

She was born on March 16, 1904, in South Bend, and she was married on May 20, 1929, to Joseph Malak, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Michael Lazzara of Calumet City; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Lewandowski and Mrs. Theresa Paprocki and a brother, Richard Gleason, all of South Bend and two grandchildren.

Services will be held in the Nowak Funeral Home, Calumet IL.

Services for Mrs. Barbara Malak, 67, of Calumet City IL, formerly of South Bend, who died Saturday, will be held at 10am Wednesday in St Victor's Church, Calumet City, with burial there.

The Nowak Funeral Home, Calumet City, is in charge of arrangements.
