Sister M. Rena CSC, of the Holy Cross order of St. Mary’s College, died of a heart ailment Tuesday in Our Savior Hospital, Jacksonville, Ill. She was born in Marion, Ind. in 1889, as Mary M. Malay. She received the holy habit in 1907 and was professed in 1915. She was a teacher in various parochial schools in Illinois.

Funeral services were held this morning on the St. Mary’s campus. A nephew of Sister M. Rena, Father Walter Ford of Detroit officiated. Burial was in the community cemetery on the campus.
