Angelina Mancuso, 79, of the Holy Cross Care & Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 31, in the nursing home.

She was born on Aug. 12, 1924, in Sersale, Italy, to the late Antonio and Maria (Mazza) Falbo. In 1947, in Sersale, Angelina married Salvatore Mancuso, who preceded her in death on April 30, 1987.

Surviving are daughters, Fran (Rick) Lansdale of Three Rivers, Mich., Mary T. (Gary) Merrill of Granger, Ind.; sons, Frank (Sabrina) Mancuso of South Bend and Tony (Julie) Mancuso of South Bend; grandchildren, Paul and Michael Lochmondy, Lee, Ross and Chris Merrill; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters and four brothers, all of Italy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in South Bend, with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 3, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend.

Mrs. Mancuso was a former member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
