Sister M. Philemon CSC, 81, born as Margaret Manderville, of St. Mary’s, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the community infirmary at St. Mary’s. She was born in Woodson, Ill. March 2, 1866, and took the holy habit in 1889. In 1904 she was professed into the Holy Cross Order. Surviving are a sister; Sister M. Macaria CSC, of St. Mary’s, three nieces; Sister Thomas O.P., of Jacksonville, Ill., Sister M. Daptiffa CSC, of Anderson, Ind., and Sister M. Auxilia CSC, of Norfolk, Ca.; two nephews, Rt, Rev. Luke Manderville of York, Neb., and Brother Firmin CSC, of Notre Dame.

 

 A requiem mass was said this morning in the Chapel of Immaculate Conception at St. Mary’s. Burial will be at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Community Cemetery.
