Maurine A. Mann
MISHAWAKA - Maurine A. “Renie”
Mann, formerly of Normandy Dr. in Mishawaka, died at 4:40
p.m., January 27, 2007, in Hospice House. Renie was born in
Elkhart on January 9, 1922, to Maurice and Florence (Yates)
Helfrich.
She married Howard Scheetz in Elkhart
in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1962. She then married Bruce
Mann in Mishawaka on May 4, 1963. Renie is survived by her
husband Bruce; a son, Roland Scheetz of Granger; a sister, Mary
Jane Kline of Elkhart; eight grandchildren; and 11
great-grandchildren. Mrs. Mann was preceded in death by her
parents; a son, Raymond Scheetz on August 8, 1980; a daughter,
Marylou Murphy on March 26, 1997; and a brother, Jack Helfrich
in 1984.
Renie had formerly worked at Fashion Cleaners and Normain
Cleaners. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post
360, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in South Bend and A.A.R.P.
Friends may visit with the family from 4-8
p.m., Tuesday January 30 and one hour prior to services in Bubb
Funeral Chapel 3910 N. Main St. Funeral. Services will be held in
the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Kenneth
Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial
Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St.
