 Mrs. Lottie A. Markowski, 87, of 314 E. Angela, died at 2:28pm Thursday in Healthwin Hospital, following a brief illness.  She was a former Wilson Brothers employee.

 She was born June 19, 1896, in Chicago and lived in South Bend since 1920, coming from Chicago.  On January 21, 1920, in Chicago, as Lottie A. Ladewski, she married Clem Markowski, who died February 20, 1970.

 She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joan Jaworski, with whom she resided; a son, Clement, of LaPorte; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Antoinette Molek, Mrs. Estelle Pawlowski, Mrs. Lucille Sebuck and Mrs. Jean Czech, all of Chicago, and Mrs. Mary Krupa of Mesa AZ; and two brothers, Chester Ladewski and Matthew Ladewski, both of Chicago.

 Services will be at 10am Saturday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church, with Rev. Thomas F. Elliott, C.S.C., associate pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4 to 9pm today in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be recited at 7pm today. 

 She was a Red Cross volunteer for 31 years and a member of the Apostleship of Prayer and Goodwill Club, both of St Stanislaus Catholic Church.
