LAKEVILLE - Natalie A. (Dolly) Marroni, 66, of 20633 Alm Lane, Lakeville, Ind., passed away at 1:14 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind.

 

Mrs. Marroni was born on July 15, 1931, in South Bend, and was a lifetime resident of the Michiana area.

 

On May 28, 1949, as Natalie A. Sucevich, she married Bert Marroni, who survives.

She is also survived by three daughters, Nancy (Frank) Miko of Fruitport, Mich., Susan (Mike) Snead and Lisa (Gary) Bragg, both of Lakeville; her mother, Helen Sucevich Andreae of South Bend; and by a sister, Millicent (Robert) Infalt of Mesa Ariz. Dolly is also survived by seven wonderful loving grandchildren, two nephews and a niece, four great-nephews and five great-nieces.

 

At the time of her death, she was employed at K-Mart South, South Bend for many years.

 

Dolly was presented an award by Gov. Bowen for being the first EMT in the state of Indiana. She helped to start the Lakeville Emergency Ambulance Service and worked for many years as an EMT on the Lakeville Ambulance.

 

Mrs. Marroni was a member of Southlawn United Methodist Church in South Bend, Valley Chapter 594 Order of Eastern Star of which she was Queen Esther, and South Bend Court 11, Order of Amaranth.

 

The Order of Eastern Star will conduct a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. on Monday in the Hanley & Sons ''Southwest Chapel'' Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road/State Road 23, South Bend.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. John Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Bend.

 

The family has requested that all memorial contributions be made to the Ronald McDonald House, to the IU Medical Center, Indianapolis, Ind., or to a charity of donor's choice.

 

Hanley & Sons ''Southwest Chapel'' Funeral Home handled services and extend heartfelt sympathy to the Marroni Family.
