WALKERTON - Quentin E. Marshall, 87, passed away April 13, 2010, at the Miller's Merry Manor in Walkerton. Quentin was born February 9, 1923, in Sugar Creek Twp, IN, to the late George N. and Mary E. (Allee) Marshall. He had lived in North Liberty most of his life. Quentin proudly served in the Navy during World War II. On September 12, 1945, he married Genevieve Schweer in Norwich, CT. She preceded him in death. They had three children who survive, Rita (Joe) Hartigan of Fabius, NY, Connie Marshall of Bidwell, OH, and Terry (Dee) Marshall of Tuscola, TX. Also surviving are two sisters, Jacquelyn Steagall of Wappingers Falls, NY, and Beverly Stanley of Norfolk, VA. Quentin was self-employed, giving music lessons and tuning pianos.
