SOUTH BEND - Fern L. Marsh, 100, of
Bradenton, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 1:20 a.m. today
in Blake Hospital, Bradenton, of natural causes. Mrs. Marsh was
born June 22, 1894, in Chandlersville, Ill., and moved to South
Bend in 1915.
On Sept. 9, 1914, in Wheaton, Ill., as Fern Little,
she married Al B. Marsh. He died June 22, 1974. She is survived
by a son, Robert E. of South Bend; two grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star
Chapter 2 and the Progress Club.
Private services and entombment will be in
Riverview Mausoleum. There will be no visitation. Welsheimer
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
