 Mrs. Stanley Martinkowski

March 28, 1904 – April 13, 1972

 Mrs. Marie Martinkowski, 68, of 722 Webster St., died in her residence at 12:10pm Thursday after a two month illness.

 She was born on March 28, 1904, in South Bend and had lived here all her life. As Marie Kazmierczak on February 12, 1923, she was married to Stanley Martinkowski, who survives, along with a son, James R.; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Sciba, both of South Bend; four grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Kashmer of Osceola, and George Kazmierczak of South Bend; and a sister, Mrs. Helen Edwards of Riverside CA.

 Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Saturday and 2 to 9pm Sunday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10am Monday in St Casimir’s Catholic Church by Rev. George H. Szymanowski, C.S.C., pastor. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. A parish vigil service will be held at 7pm Sunday in the funeral home.
