SOUTH BEND - Albina M. Martino, 90,
of East Dayton Street, formerly of Oak Park Court, died at 3:50
p.m. Sunday in her home.
Mrs. Martino was born Nov. 28, 1903, in
Italy and lived in South Bend since 1936, coming from Italy. On
Nov. 11, 1923, in Italy, as Albina M. D'Ioia, she married
John Martino. He died in 1967.
She is survived by two daughters, Josephine Thompson,
with whom she made her home, and Teresa Warrington of Las
Vegas, Nev.; four sons, Victor of Chicago, Tony of Montreal,
Dominic of Mishawaka, and Peter of Sacramento, Calif.; 15
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pearina Sauro
of Montreal, Canada.
She was a member of St. Matthew Cathedral.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will
be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in
Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive, where a parish
rosary will be at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to
the church.
